Shrimp

Rice

Rubber
The area of rubber trees in Vietnam currently has 938.8 thousand hectares, accounting for 7.2% of the total global rubber area. Vietnam's rubber latex harvest will reach 1.26 million tons in 2021, accounting for 8.7% of global rubber production. The average yield of Vietnamese rubber is 1,682 kg/ha, ranking first in Asia.
Over the past decade, the area of rubber plantations has continuously decreased, with an average annual decrease of 10,000 - 20,000 ha, due to companies converting rubber trees to other trees, or industrial development. As a result, the output does not meet the demand, so in recent years, Vietnam has imported natural rubber from Laos and Cambodia to serve the processing of rubber products. This import supply is mixed with the domestic supply for export.
Pangasius
The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), said that in the first half of 2022, the seafood industry recorded many export record milestones: sales record, growth record compared to the first half of other countries. five. The whole seafood industry earned $5.7 billion, up nearly 40% over the same period in 2021.
In particular, the record is pangasius with sales of 1.4 billion USD, an increase of 82.4%. Seafood products, despite difficulties in raw materials, still maintained a growth rate of 12-55% over the same period, bringing in over 2 billion USD.
Vegetables
A special point is that in the first 2 months of 2022, vegetable and fruit exports to the US increased by nearly 70%; Korea increased by nearly 32%; Japan increased 12%; Australia increased by 45.7%, the Netherlands increased by 51.5%… This is expected to create a shift in export markets, helping Vietnam's fruit and vegetable products grow in the coming time.
Taking a closer look at export items, Mr. Dang Phuc Nguyen said that in 2021, dragon fruit exports to China alone will reach $1.031 billion out of the total export value of vegetables and fruits to this market. 9 billion USD.

Peppers
In the first two months of the year, Vietnam's pepper exports saw mixed growth as output decreased by 11.2% but increased by 43.8% in value over the same period last year. The reason is, the export price of Vietnamese pepper increased by 61.9% over the same period last year, reaching $4,681/ton.
Currently, Vietnam has started to enter the main pepper harvest. In some places in Dak Nong province, the harvest is almost finished, so the supply is quite abundant, but the selling price has increased sharply compared to the end of January 2022, despite the limited purchase of dealers.
Cassava
Vietnam is the world's third largest exporter of cassava and cassava products in terms of output, after Thailand and Cambodia, and second in export turnover after Thailand. According to the General Department of Customs, in 2021, cassava exports will reach nearly 2.9 million tons, worth nearly $1.2 billion, up 2.4% in volume and 16.5% in value compared to 2020. Cassava and cassava products is one of the agricultural products that still maintained the growth rate in both output and export turnover in the past year.
